Here you'll find answers to the most common questions about your PonyLoop® cap, from size and ponytail opening to care, shipping and exchanges.
What size is the PonyLoop® cap, and will it fit me?
All PonyLoop® caps are one size and fit head circumferences from 54 to 62 cm. Each cap includes a black foam insert (sizing clip) that reduces the size by about 2–3 cm, ideal for head circumferences under 56 cm. To measure, simply wrap a tape measure around your head about 1 cm above your ears.
How does the ponytail opening work?
On the back of every PonyLoop® cap is a special opening that your ponytail, bun or braid fits through easily at any height, without pinching. The PonyLoop® Original opens and closes with a magnetic closure, while the PonyLoop® Vintage features a CrissCross opening for a secure fit. Put it on, pull your hair through, done.
How do I wash and care for my PonyLoop®?
Hand wash your PonyLoop® cap in cold water and air dry. This keeps its shape and color looking great longer.
How long does shipping take and where do you ship?
Your order typically arrives within 1–3 weeks after payment is received. In rare cases it can take up to 40 days. We ship to Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Can I cancel or exchange my order?
We offer a voluntary exchange policy. Within 14 days of receiving your order, you can request an exchange without giving a reason, for example if the color doesn't work for you. A right of withdrawal under § 355 BGB is excluded for our products where legally permitted, particularly hygiene items and worn products are excluded under § 312g para. 2 BGB. To exchange, email us at contact@ponyloop.com with your order number and the new variant you'd like. The item must be unworn, unwashed, in original condition with all tags and in original packaging. You cover return shipping costs, we cover shipping the exchange item. Refunds are not available under this policy. We offer one exchange per order. Full details are on our Withdrawal & Exchange page.
What material is the PonyLoop® made from?
Our PonyLoop® caps are made from recycled polyester. Lightweight, breathable, moisture-wicking and highly sun-resistant thanks to UV protection. The stretch material adapts to your head. The PonyLoop® Vintage combines a washed, worn-in look with breathable mesh in trucker style.
What PonyLoop® styles are available?
For summer there's the PonyLoop® Original (clean look with magnetic opening in back, 4 colors), the PonyLoop® Vintage (trucker cap with washed, worn-in look, CrissCross opening and mesh, 6 colors) and the PonyLoop® Glitter. For cold days you'll also find our beanies: PonyLoop® Beanie, Confetti Beanie, Silk Beanie (also with pom pom) and the Kids Beanie.
Does the cap slip during sports?
No. The PonyLoop® is designed to stay put without slipping when you're running, biking, at the beach or on the go. For narrower heads, the included foam insert provides extra hold.
Is the PonyLoop® a good gift?
Yes. Since all caps are one size (54–62 cm), you don't have to guess. The PonyLoop® fits nearly every head. With the included foam insert it adjusts even more. A safe gift for athletes, moms and anyone who wears a ponytail.
